London: C. & R. Baldwin, 1809. Hardcover. Good. v. 15. 1781-1785 Quarto, 27 cm. Bound in 3/4 leather over marbled boards. Rebacked, with modern leather spine, original boards conserved. Pages generally clean and unmarked. 9 plates at end. Final plate has offsetting. Royal Meteorological Society book plate. <br> This is v.15, of a 18 volume set where the Royal Society reprinted the first 150 years of their publications. This volume includes Volta's article "On very weak Electricity;" as well as Priestly's article, "On Phlogiston, Air, and Water." Numerous other articles include physiology, Mechanical engineering, mathematics, chemistry, optics, meteorology, geologist, etc.
