About This Item
Westmorland, 1951. Hardcover. Near Fine. 11" x 12" squarish hardcover photo album, pebbled pressed brown cloth over boards, heavyweight cream colored pages. Album consists of 40 leaves (80 pages), of which only the first 21 leaves are used, each one with just one large (approx. 9" x 7") photograph per leaf, affixed to recto only. Photographs include some of the most spectacularly joyful and gigantic group photographs we've ever encountered! Massive choral group after massive choral group account for 8 of the 21 photographs with smaller group shots of various children's choral groups accounting for the remainder of the photographs. Condition of photo album and photographs is near fine with mild wear to covers and dulled lettering on front cover. A smashing example of photo albumery at its most exhuberant!
