Albany: D. Dennison, 1861. Quarto (27.3 X 20.8 cm.) Original red morocco binding. Heavily gilt stamped boards. Spine ruled in 5 compartments. Title and date on the spine. Gilt accents. Gilt roll on edge. Original yellow endpapers. Binder/booksellers ticket on the front paste down. All edges gilt. Vignette illustration on the title page. Small old tide line on the title page. All original protective tissues and page dividers present. 35 albumen oval portraits all mounted on stiff paper. Each portrait is signed in ink by the sitter. All are in fine unfaded condition. Overall a wonderful copy. Individuals included: Governor Edwin Denison Morgan [1811 - 1883], Lt. Governor Robert Campbell [1808 - 1870], Edward A. Lawrence [1st], Thomas A Gardiner [2nd], Francis B.
