Three quarter brown leather with blue cloth, titled in gilt with gilt-ruled decorations and raised bands on the spine. The covers are rubbed and scuffed with wear to the corners. There is heavy dampstaining and wear to the bottom of the front cover. Twelve issues of these periodicals bound in one volume, comprising pages [1] - 144; [225] - 440; [1] - 440, illustrated with profuse textual illustrations, pictorial title pages & 3 steel-engraved plates. The front hinge is cracked. There is a tiny tear with wear to the front edge of the first leaf with dampstaining and foxing to the edges of that leaf. There is occasional scattered foxing and light soiling throughout. Good.
