This is the uncommon John Christie edition. Dated via Copac c1860. A charming volume exploring the beautiful landscapes of Wales by John Tillotson, author of 'The Album of Scottish Scenery,' 'Beauties of English Scenery,' and other topographical works. Each area and place visited is described by the author. Illustrated with thirty-seven steel engravings by H Adlard; Allen; Gastineau and others. Collated, complete. In the original publisher's decorative cloth binding with gilt to front board. Externally very smart with minor shelf wear only, light bumping to head and tail of spine and extremities. Front joint only slightly strained. Internally, firmly bound. Minor light spotting to first and last few leaves, pages otherwise bright and clean. Very Good Indeed

Where are We?
Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
