Gilt text, decorations and bands on spine, gilt outline edge on boards, top and fore edges of corners are gilt as well, marbled ep's, decorative tooling on edge between board edges and pastedown edges front and rear. 28 sepia aguatints (1 missing tissue and 1 with closed tear in tissue) plus frontis and map. 206 pp. Leather spine (covering only) is cracked and chipped. 'I' of Ireland,'ver' of river, 'ay' of Medway are missing, extremities scuffed, top edge dark, fore and bottom edges yellow, shelf wear and scratches on front and rear boards, bookplate on front pastedown: "Lucknam 1870 John Hippisley". Book is tight and square. Book weighs kilo+ and may require extra shipping. Bookseller's Inventory # 082327.
