Navy blue boards show shelf wear with light staining, rubbing, and bumping, while the dust jacket shows light shelf wear with small loss to spine, creasing, and chipping to the extremities and is now protected by a removable, non-damaging, archival mylar cover. Pages are clean with light soiling to outer edge and slight foxing, binding is tight and secure. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting, however text block remains firm. Previous owner's inscription to pre title page and title page. Boards have some edge wear, with moderate bumping and fraying to corners, while spine ends are slightly crushed and frayed. Rather scratched, rubbed and marked overall. Slight faint water stains. Gilt is bright.
