Harris for Science. This is a collection of 18 lectures, revised and updated, on Astronomy and the discoverers. The lectures are about the theories and discoveries of Copernicus, Tycho Brahe, Kepler, Galileo, Descartes, Newton, Roemer/Bradley, Lagrange/Laplace, Herschel (William and Caroline), Bessel, and other discoveries. They are still relevant and informative today with extensive illustrations on how the solar system and beyond was discovered and works.

The Emanuel School, was part of a larger effort to provide a Hospital and Almshouse in Westminister. The effort was funded by Anne, Lady Dacre (cousin to the Queen) in 1594 and chartered by Queen Elizabeth I 1601. The formal school education was started in 1736 for both boys and girls.
