FIRST EDITION of The Riverside Library, "O Pioneers!" by Willa Sibert Cather. It was published in Boston/New York by Houghton Mifflin Co., 1913. It's hardcover with black cloth covered board and red lettering on the spine. The cloth has numerous spots and the lettering on the spine is chipped and fading. The pages are in very good condition and the binding is still tight. Pages have tanning from age. All pages are present. Mis-aligned published page cut on the first title page with slight chipping and edgewear. No foxing. Hinges are very good. If it weren't for the cover, this book would be in Very Good Condition. Rare First Edition. No Dust Jacket. The book measures 8 3/8" tall by 5.75" wide and about 1.25" thick. Fair+
