In 1920, Colonel Sir Bruce Seton (1868-1932), a British army surgeon and military historian, and the bagpipe scholar and composer Pipe-Major John Grant (1876-1961) co-wrote The Pipes of War: A Record of the Achievements of Pipers of Scottish and Overseas Regiments During the War 1914-1918.
It doesn't appear that the first printing was a large one and original copies are all in library collections. In 1975, EP Publishing reprinted the original. This is one of those copies. They are now hard to find.

291 pages, including photos, poems, a Roll of Honour, Regimental Records, Individual Achievements and a History of the Pipes.
As you can see, the blue of the dust jacket has almost completely faded. The covers are perfect. The owner wrote his name on the front endpaper. There are a couple of minor dogears. Otherwise, fine condition.If you want it, I have a copy of Scottish Regiments and Uniforms, 1660-1914. It's a 64-page illustrated guide to the regiments and their uniforms, published in 1971. It's free because the binding has come undone--all of the pages are here, but you'll have to have it re-bound. It will also change the delivery price.
