A Pisgah view of Palestine is a reference to Moses' view, from Mt. Pisgah of the Holy land where he was not permitted to enter. Fuller's book provides a contemporary and comparable work to Milton's works. Hopkins describes Fuller's atlas as the first English bible Atlas (169 p.) Fuller used three engravers, John Goddard, Robert Vaughan and W. Marshall and maintained a uniform style.
