First and only printing of one of the greatest city plans printed in America, limited to 1000 copies; large 4to, xv, [1], 227, [1]; nearly 200 illustrations throughout, some in color, some duotone, some double page, some folding, all from architect's drawings and renderings, and contemporary sources, plus 2 large folding maps; bookplate on front pastedown, early owner's name on front free endpaper, stains from binding glue on endpapers at hinges, a near fine copy in original red cloth gilt, t.e.g; A futuristic look at Minneapolis, part of which was actually completed.
