The November 28,1960 offering of Playbill, that being Volume 4, Number 49. Covered within is the production at the Lyceum Theatre of "A Taste of Honey", by British dramatist Shelagh Delaney, first American production being on Broadway at the Lyceum Theatre in 1960, as covered by this Playbill. Octavo, illustrated staple-bound wraps, 57 pp. Near Fine; very faint, unpronounced creasing at bottom right, front cover; small black dot at right edge, rear cover; otherwise, flawless. See scans. Age-toning of the contents is as minimal as one is ever likely to see in a 1960 Playbill. "A Taste of Honey was produced at just two small British theaters before making this debut in New York. The cast for this original Broadway production was: Helen - Angela Lansbury; Josephine - Joan Plowright; Peter - Nigel Davenport; The Boy - Billy Dee Williams; Geoffrey - Andrew Ray. The play was made into an award-winning film, in 1961, in England. An extraordinarily rare theatrical periodical and ephemera piece, in superior condition.
