Rebacked with contemporary calf to front and back boards and original endpapers retained. Corners bumped and worn, with some general scuffing and smudging to leather. Front hinge cracked after "Man-Hater" title page, with leaf separating from gutter along top 2", but binding is holding soundly. Pages a bit toned with occasional faint corner creases, else unmarked.
Collection of five plays, independently paginated. The publisher also released a six volume "new translation" of Moliere's works in the same year.
