Colour illustrated laminated boards with black coloured titles to the front panel and backstrip. First published in late 19th century by Ernest Nister; they are "Venetian Blind" changing picture mechanicals and as you pull the tab down slowly one picture becomes another, which accompany the poems on the opposite page. Rubbing of the backstrip corners and book corners. The majority of the Venetian Blind illustrations are in good working order excepting the illustration accompanying Which Way is Best?, It has a tear to the left-hand side measuring 2 1/2 inches which makes the illustration lift up.
