The book features an illustrated title page, a frontispiece, a "Map of Massachusetts Bay," and a few other illustrations. Smaller in size - the book measures 6 3/4" tall x 4 3/8" wide. Condition:
Some very light soiling to the covers and spine. Cloth tears at the cover corners, and at the left edge of the back cover. Small cloth pieces are missing at the top and bottom edges of the spine. Bright gilt lettering on the spine. Tight binding with no cracks and no loose pages. Both covers are firmly attached. The tissue guard in between the frontispiece and title page has been removed. Consistent foxing to the pages throughout the book (the foxing is generally light, though darker on pages 68-76). A light, half-dollar sized stain appears at the outer edge of 5, then disappears around page 27. Previous owner's bookplate affixed to the front pastedown. There are 2 small embossed stamps on the front end paper. Overall the book is in Good- condition.
