From the collection of Adrian Homer Goldstone--collector and bibliographer to Steinbeck--A fine copy in a very good price-clipped dustjacket. This copy was signed by A. J. Cronin on the half title page--signature only. A tight and clean copy unmarked copy. The dustjacket is price-clipped and has a bit of shelfwear rubbing and edgewear to the tips and head and heel of the spine with a couple of closed end tears. Preserved in a new clear acrylic acetate dustjacket protector. Very scarce signed.
