London : Routledge, Warne, and Routledge , 1864. Cloth. Very Good. 9" by 6". Various. A smart new edition copy of the poems of Alfred Tennyson, with illustrations throughout. A New Edition copy of the poetical works of Alfred Lord Tennyson, who was Poet Laureate during much of Queen Victoria's reign. Some of the poems which appear in this volume are Claribel, Madeline, Love and Death and Ulysses. Illustrated throughout the text with works by Millais, Stanfield, Horsely and other eminent artists. In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, lovely with some bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Front free endpaper is loose and has an inscription dated 1865. Front and rear hinges starting but remain firm. Internally, generally firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
