Original uniform blind-ruled gilt lettered green cloth with US arms stamped in gilt on upper boards, top edges gilt (front edge of upper board of vol II lightly scuffed - otherwise a near Fine set. Pp. various (previous owner's neat 1887 inscription on verso of front free endpaper on vol I).
Synopsis
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow (1807 – 1882) was an American poet whose works include Paul Revere's Ride , The Song of Hiawatha , and Evangeline. Most of his works were lyrical poems which often utilized mythology and legend.
