Full red leather binding with gilt ruling on front panel,spine, and blind tooling on back panel. Cover has light rubbing on bottom edge. Binding sound. Marbled endpapers. All edges gilt. There are a few superficial scratches on the gilding. No ownership or other marks in text. Frontis. There are a total of 91 black and white illustrations by Millais, Rossetti, Maclise and others. Ribbon book mark bound in. No DJ. ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 881 pages .
