New York: Viking Press, 1968. First Edition. Hardcover. Near Fine/Very Good. Preface by Stephen Spender. Introduction by Philip K. Kunhardt Jr. Inscribed by Parks on the half-title. Near Fine in a Very Good jacket, unclipped ($8.95), rubbed and bumped at the edges and corners, a few small scuffs at the corners. White cloth, lightly bumped and foxed at the top edge, gilt lettering on the spine. Square and firmly bound, clean internally. Parks's first work of creative photography in which he pairs his famous photographs with his own poetry that extend the mood.
