Full green crushed morocco leather, raised bands, gilt titles and ruling to spine panels, boards and edges, gilt inner dentelles, marbled endpapers, all edges gilt, (8.5 x 6 inches). Cambridge Edition. xvii, 887 pages; illustrated with engraved photogravure frontispiece of Tennyson and an engraved title-page with a scene of the house on Isle of Wight. Binding appears SIGNED by binder on rear upper turn-in but font size is too small to decipher. A clean, tight copy in an exceptionally fine binding. Leather. Fine. Octavo.
