Large, heavy sturdy book, green cloth spine and sides, smooth orange boards with tiny pin hole at top front tip, gilt lettering bright on spine, slight wear to bottom front tip, red inside covers and adjacent end papers, 408 heavy pages. DJ glossy red beneath mylar with close-up portrait of Chaucer at front right, b/w photo of Gardner at top back. DJ has very slight wear to tips, microtear, crease and very tiny tear with very slight wear at top front edge, tiny nick at bottom front tip, very tiny tear at bottom front edge near tips, several tiny tears along spine top edge with very slight wear, slight wear to spine bottom edge, light wear to long spine left and back bookfold edge, lightly rubbed in places on back. Good DJ/Fine book.
