An exquisite image of pears on a leafy branch drawn by Pierre-Jean-François Turpin, with fruit and botanical details. Plate 48 from Poiteau and Turpin: Traite des Arbres Fruitiers (1808-1835). Printed by Langlois, a master printer who worked with Redoute. Numbered at upper right corner "1". A handsome large antique botanical engraving. .
