Paris: Librairie Stock, 1931., 1931.. Good. SIGNED BY THE AUTHOR AND IMPORTANT ARTIST VLAMINCK - Octavo, softcover bound in printed creamy white wraps. The covers are soiled with some creases to the corners and edges and a couple of tiny chips to the head and tail of the spine. 195 pages. The front hinge is starting at the top and the pages are toned. Good.

First edition, with "S.P." [Service de Press] printed on the spine.

Inscribed and signed by Maurice de Vlaminck on the front endpaper: "A Pierre Hudiat / Hommage de l'auteur / Vlaminck".

Along with Andre Derain and Henri Matisse, Maurice de Vlaminck was one of the central figures of the Fauve movement. He was the only major French artist who was also a significant literary figure.
