Very rare; presentation copy, signed and inscribed in both English and Chinese by author Paul Myron Anthony Linebarger--a political scientist better known by his science-fiction pseudonym, Cordwainer Smith; this book features his writings on the political doctrines of Sun Yat-Sen, father of Chinese Nationalism, who was also Linebarger's godfather--indeed it was Sun who suggested Linebarger adopt the name "Lin Bai-lo", "Lin" being the name by which he signed this book; cover soiled/rubbed, corners bumped/lightly rubbed, spine quite sunned, spine ends bumped; edges age-toned/very lightly soiled; endpapers cockled/unevenly age-toned/lightly foxed, front endpapers lightly soiled, ffep has <1 inch tear in top edge and extremely minor/shallow chipping to page edges, rfep and rear flyleaf have stamps in purple ink, textblock faintly age-toned; binding tight; cover, edges, and interior intact and clean except as noted. . Signed by Author. Hard Cover. Good/No Jacket. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.
