New York: Grosset & Dunlap, 1915. Hardcover. Fair/Poor. 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall. 12mo. 308 pages. Hardcover in pink illustrated dust jacket. DJ has damping, wrinkling, edge-wear, foxing, chipping. Spine is sunned has a 2 inch long piece of the DJ missing at foot, 1 inch tall piece of DJ missing at headcap. Illustrated endpapers are foxed. Text is quite toned. The most recent copyright date is 1915 but the binding, endpapers, and dust jacket style are similar to the copies printed in the 1940s.
Synopsis
Pollyanna Grows Up is a 1915 children's novel by Eleanor H. Porter. It is the first of many sequels to Porter's best-selling Pollyanna (1913), but is the only one written by Porter herself; the numerous later additions to the Pollyanna franchise were the work of other authors.
