Two tiny spots of tape residue at top edge of verso of print, overall very good condition. With accompanying text sheet. A bold rendering, strongly colored, of the fungi Inonotus hispidus, commonly known as shaggy bracket. At top is an image of the fungus attached to the tree, with seven details below. This is a plate from the second edition of William Curtis's magnum opus "Flora Londinensis" (de Belder #87, Dunthorne #87), enlarged by George Graves and William Jackson Hooker. The plants are depicted life size and include most of the British flora. .
