About This Item

Longman, Brown, Green, and Longmans, London, 1843. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/No Jacket. 300 pages (complete). An amiable copy. The boards have blind-stamped decoration, and a gilt illustration. Recased with original boards and spine. The boards have wear, sunning, fading all about from shelving and storage. They are still sound and sure. Newer end papers. The contents are pleasing. They do have some evidence of handling with some very shallow corner creases. The title page has handling marks. The pages have some few age-related marks. Otherwise, the contents are clean, clear, fresh-faced, tight, certain, diligent, careful, confident, healthy. fk.
