Garden City: The Theatre Guild / Doubleday, Page & Company, 1927. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. First edition. Octavo. 203pp. Original flexible card wrappers and attached dustwrapper. Contemporary owner's signature in ink on front free endpaper and rubber stamps of Doubleday Page Book Shop's Rental Library" and three dates on rear free endpaper. Some staining with a tear on the front panel of the dustwrapper, a nice copy of a fragile production. First play version based on Heyward's 1925 novel.
