About This Item
The Son of Porthos, published in 1883, is believed to have been written by a Dumas collaborator, Paul Mahalin. It is the third sequel in the trilogy of the D'Artagnan Romances and apparently fills in the gaps left in in The Three Musketeers.
Burgundy Boards with an imprinted design on the front and bright gold lettering on the spine.
Includes a full-page B&W drawing of Dumas.
345 pages, 4 ¼" x 6 ¼".
This is a near-perfect copy of this book, save two things; the spine is starting to pull away (on the inside). That can be repaired.
A previous owner put his stamp in it; that can be covered over.
This is not a novel by Dumas. This is a forgery written by Paul Mahalin.
