Original full leather embossed boards with gilt front panel and spine show heavy rubbing, 3" slit to leather along spine and torn head of spine. Front hinge loose, binding cracked in several place with several signatures loosening. All edges gilt with original floral endpapers, overall a complete and still fairly handsome copy that needs a bit of tightening. Early county history illustrated with full page portraits accompanying biographical sketches. ; MCN34057; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 871 pp .
