PORTSMOUTH: CHARPENTIER LTD , 1926 Navy Blue Buckram cloth quarter binding with pale blue cloth boards, gilt blocked titles to spine and City Crest to front, 250 x 155 mm approx.[iv] + 92 pp + 16 pp - Sketches of Old Portsmouth by M Snape. Many other line drawings/ b/w reproductions and street plan in text being articles reprinted from the "Hampshire Telegraph" 1925. Nos. 169 of a limited edition of 250 copies published 1926. Very Good (Book - mild general shelf wear and soiling to cloth with bruises to edges typical of being tied in a bundle, a few light foxing spots to prelims, pencil previous owner name to free front end paper. No other notable defects). A book of interest to present and past residents of the City which seldom becomes available to purchase in it's limited edition format.
