Doubleday, New York, 1981. First Hardback Edition. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Good. Illustrator: Jan Esteves -- Cover Art. foreword by Ted White and introduction by author. Red coloured boards with black coloured titles to the spine. Illustrated dustwrapper, by Jan Esteves, with black and maroon coloured titles to the front panel and spine. 12 short stories by Martin Kaye, including The Possession of Immanuel Wolf. Both fantasy and horror are represented in this selection of stories. Bumping and wear to the top and bottom spine and book edges. Rubbing to the book corners and the spine is cocked. The middle part of the book panels has become slightly faded. On the bottom textblock edge is purple splatter – remainder mark from publishing house. Dustwrapper is rubbed and faded, particularly the spine. Chipping to the top and bottom dustwrapper edges and a little rubbing to the corners. The white of the dustwrapper has become dull and grubby.
