About This Item

London: Little, Brown and Company. Near Fine in Near Fine dust jacket. 1995. 1st UK Edition. Hardcover. A SIGNED UK FIRST Edition, FIRST Impression. Black boards with bright copper-gilt titling to the spine. In the original publishers' pictorial dustjacket. The dustjacket is bright, unfaded, complete & unclipped. It shows a touch of minor 'creasing' to the bottom of the spine, but the d/j is now in a new protective clear - removable - bookfilm plastic cover and looks FINE. The book is square and very tight. There are NO previous ownership inscriptions. The boards are clean and unfaded, with NO creasing, the corners sharp. It also shows a touch of inconsequential 'bumping' to the spine ends, all due to storage - the book was bought New and stored away Unread. The fore-edges are very clean, but as usual are very lightly tanned due to the type of paper used. This copy has been FLAT SIGNED, without dedication, with a black 'marker' pen by Patricia Cornwell to the Title page. An attractive copy in a protected wrapper. "The 6th novel in Cornwell's bestselling mystery-thriller series featuring Dr. Kay Scarpetta, forensic scientist and chief medical examiner for Virginia..." . Apart from the minor flaws as noted above this copy is Near AS New. See Images. ; Large 8vo 9" - 10" tall; Signed by Author .
