Boston: Houghton and Mifflin. Fine in Fine dust jacket. 1963. First Edition; First Printing. 225 . A unique set, comprising the full development process from manuscript to publication. The original manuscript for the short story; "The Revenges of Mrs Aberchrombie" written on 18 pages in pencil on yellow legal paper and signed by Achincloss on the top of the first page in pen. Now housed in an archival folder. The short story first appeared in Good Housekeeping in the December 1962 issue under the title, "Office Party" (starting on page 66) , and then under its final title "The Revenges of Mrs Aberchrombie" in the 1963 publication Powers of Attorney. Included is a copy of Good Housekeeping Dec 1962. The cover only in good condition, but internally generally near fine. Also included is the first edition and 1st printing of Powers of Attorney. A fine book with a fine dust jacket, showing some minor edgewear, now with an archival cover for protection. The short story is the 5th and appears on page 85. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 280 pages; Signed by Author .
