About This Item
Spine a tad sunned, some light rubbing else this is a very good copy. The engraved plates have offset to the facing pages and there is a bit of light staining to the textblock.
The plates illustrated the march and mode of the various pieces as well as the opening of the game. General maxims, Laws of Chess, Observations and values of the pieces are followed by examples of openings, mates ands situations for 60 games.
