Fully bound in contemporary calf-skin leather. 5 raised bands. Black Morocco spine label with gilt lettering. Gilt decorative flourishes along spine. Gilt borders on boards. Tight binding and solid boards. Slight bumping to corners. Rubbing to boards. Slight darkening to lower portion of rear board. Personal library bookplate from Irving S. Cutter inside front board. Clean, unmarked pages with slight toning to edges.<br><br>William Oliver was an English physician and philanthropist, and inventor of the Bath Oliver biscuit.
