Montreal: Tundra Books, 1973. 3rd Printing. Hardcover. Very Good/Good. A story told in twenty paintings and some simple text. Third Printing of the 1973 edition. About 9 1/4" x 9 1/4". Slim hardcover in bright blue boards with black titling to front and spine plus small illustration on the front. Gift inscription on ffep. Some pages dimpled through use. Dust jacket has a 1" closed tear at the front top left and some small brown blemishes spine and back.

Synopsis

Text and twenty color paintings depict the rigors and simple pleasures during the stark 1930s.

We do not use stock photos. All our photos are of the actual item offered for sale. We try to include the publishers' own descriptions of content by including photos of dust jacket flaps and back covers so far as they seem useful, and we also use photos to show material flaws where we can.

The "Pulp & Circumstance" watermark you might notice in some of our photos does not, of course, appear on any of the items themselves.

Please note that the colour in our photos often fails to come out right. The hue shifts a bit due to the limitations of our equipment, the lighting in our workshop, and of course my own lack of photographic expertise.
