Clark including tales of his time in the navy during the Civil War. Clark graduated from the U.S. Naval Acedemy in 1863 and served aboard the sloop Ossipee in the Battle of Mobile Bay. He later served in Japan and his most notably as commander of the USS Oregon during the Spanish American War. Fine. Issued without dust jacket.
