This is the story of Henry Newton Brown who rode with Billy, the Kid during the Lincoln County War in New Mexico in the 1880s but broke away to become a peace officer first in Tascaso, TX and later in Caldwell, KS. He led a respectable life there until his past caught up with him. A historical novel of the old West. A clean very presentable copy.
