Good. 1st with edition letters BCDE present HB Harcourt Brace 1973; signed by William Goldman with inscription to Halina Harding on the ffep verso; jacket is unclipped and unsunned but has a closed - with tape - tear to jacket spine; some wear to boards and slight shelfwear, some slight marks to top edge of page block; Goldman was author of numerous screenplays including 'Butch Cassidy' and the film oft this title, and was admitted to the Motion Picture Hall of Fame; Goldman has started to sign to Helena and has obviously changed 'e' to 'a'; date accompanying signature is after date of publication; this book has very slight foxing to a few pages and shows signs of having been stored in less than ideal circumstances; the binding is sound but slightly loose;true signed copies of this title are scarce; this is NOT a fine or near fine copy, but a well used genuine example and is priced accordingly; happy to provide photographs or further information before ordering
