About This Item
Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, Pretoria, 1964. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. 118 pages plus index (complete). South Africa was faced, during its apartheid years, with an added focus to urban planning: mass housing for the then townships for the Black population. Calderwood had a background of more liberal thinking than was usual in South Africa at the time. The cloth cover is worn and marked but otherwise sound and sure. Within, the contents have some mild annotations (in pencil). The pages are neat, clean, clear, competent, diligent, smart. fk. Our orders are shipped using tracked courier delivery services.
