Boulder: Westview Press. VG in VG DJ. (1995). 1st US ptg. Daladier, French Prime Minister, was arrested by the Vichy regime & imprisoned in France and Germany until the end of WWII . He had signed the Munich Agreement in 1938 and one year later led his country into war against Hitler's Germany. While in prison, he wrote about what had happened to him and his country, from day-to-day conditions in captivity and about what he could glean of the anti-Nazi war effort through newspaper accounts.
