New York: Henry Holt and Company, 1918 Red cloth cover with gilt title and image of a spider's web, book and professor's hat. Also an image of a man with a bear, wearing a cloth cap and spectacles on the spine. The spine top and bottom and the corners are bumped and rubbed. A black & white frontis with several other pictures and drawings in text. 347 pages, slightly yellowed and binding tight although the back is starting to hinge. A little rubbing on back cover and at joints. Cloth. Good/No Jacket. Illus. by Ormsbee, J.. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Ex-Library.
