About This Item

Eugene, OR: Dead Skin Press, 1999. First printing. 9.5 x 7.5 inches, letterpress. A couple of tiny indentations, otherwise essentially in fine condition. One of several dozen truncated proverbs, printed on variously sized sheets of paper for display as part of Invisible Bullets, a public art installation by O'Connell at Michael Graves's Portland Building in Portland, OR. Each text fragment was printed only once or twice; some were mounted on rigid backing and hung on the wall, and others displayed in vitrines.
