Oxford: Printed by the Shakespeare Head Press for Basil Blackwell, 1930. Original Wrappers. Very Good binding. Single bifolium (4 pp.). Prospectus for the 5-volume set issued by the Shakespeare Head Press in an edition of 500 copies on Batchelor's Shakespeare Head handmade paper printed with Bruce Rogers's Centaur type. This bifolium printed on the same paper as the full edition, with a title page, two specimen pages including a full page illustration by Farleigh, and the announcement on the verso of the last leaf. A clean, bright copy of this prospectus with a gentle crease where it was folded in half and some light fold marks along the bottom where is was very faintly crumpled.

Oxford: Printed by the Shakespeare Head Press for Basil Blackwell, 1931. Half Leather. Good binding. Quarto. Volume I:xxxix, [1], 262, [1]; II: [6], 289; III: xvi, 325; IV: [6], 303, [4]; V: xvi, 199, [1] pp. Limited edition, number 379 of 500 copies. As issued, backed in red leather with corners and cream buckram over boards; largely unopened. Spines are sunned and discolored; closed tear to the leather at the head of Volume IV; there is some red-rot to the leather as it leaves a light residue when handled; boards are generally grubby; while the exterior has much to be desired, the interiors are quite clean but for a previous owner name on the front free endpaper of Volume I. Beautifully printed on Batchelor's Shakespeare Head handmade paper using Bruce Rogers's Centaur type. 50 full-page wood engravings by Farleigh are scattered throughout all the volumes.
