Fore edge deckled. Dust jacket has light soiling and minor creasing and wear to top edge. Boards have light wear to head and foot of spine, light foxing and soiling to all edges. Text block has light foxing. Harper & Brothers, 1942-02-01. First Edition. Hardbound. Good/Good. Gift inscription to previous owner on FFEP; owner is a prominent historian of the American West. Book in good condition; pages are straight and securely bound, but there is foxing present on the top of the text block and the endpapers show marked age toning. Black boards are rubbed from shelfwear; either end of spine shows a small bump. Dust jacket in mylar shows overall soil, is price clipped, and worn/chipped along top edge. Please see our photo.
