Racist trade card illustrated with a lithograph cartoon depicting a foot race in which the contestants are over weight Chinese men, running with pigtails streaming behind them. With a pidgin Chinese caption, "They all'y do it". Signed Bufford, Boston at the lower right.
The verso printed with advertising text for the furniture company, "the largest, lowest priced and most popular house furnishing store in New England". Located at Broad Street, near Mathewson, Providence, R. I. 4 1/2 x 2 3/4". Evenly toned, o/w very good.
