Bound in contemporary full red leather with extensive geometric blind tooling on covers and gilt ornaments and lettering on spine. Very light wear at edges and spine ends. A finely bound early American Hymn book.

Gould, Kendall, and Lincoln. Poor with no dust jacket. 1843. Hardcover. E--Brown leather covers are heavily worn and rubbed, with small chips at the spine tail, and a large chip (approx. 2 1/4" wide by 2" long) at the spine head. Front joint is cracked for approximately 2" from the spine tail up. While the covers are remain attached to the text block, the hinges are broken, and the front end page is loose. Age toning, heavy foxing, and some damp staining throughout. Due to size and/or weight of the book I can only ship it domestic mail. A Little Store that's BIG on Service. Tracking on every package. .
